London Park City travelled to Ford Sports Club to play RCXI FC. From the start of the game, both teams tried to impose their style. London Park City played short quick balls from the back in an attempt to open the opposition`s compact formation. However, RCXI chose playing long balls, relying on their wingers speed and ability. The 3rd minutes witnessed a poor positioning and defending from LPC FC players: a long ball from RCXI`s defender found its way to their winger who managed to dribble easily past the wing back then the defender to perform an outstanding shot that did not leave any change to our keeper Buza.
Quickly, LPC players regained their composure to control the ball again creating many chances that did not find the nets. A free kick at the half line taken by LPC keeper gave the equaliser goal.
Second half was the same: LPC dominating the midfield without a clear threat on RCXI goalkeeper. 75 minutes London Park City brought in the game their talented 16 years old keeper to give him match experience. Another long ball from RCXI was not well read by both defense and keeper cost the team a second goal.
LPC tried to press more and created very clear chances that were not capitalised especially by Robert.
The last minutes saw an astonishing shooting by Florin from outside the box that was blocked leaving LPC FC 2-1 down.
LPC needs to works a lot on the final attacking third, players focus and shooting from outside box.
Let`s hope, they can manage to secure a win soon!
