London Park City FC U-12 delivered an impressive performance from start to finish, overcoming Footsteps FC with a 5–2 win.
First Half: Control and Creativity
From the opening whistle, our young players stuck to their philosophy—keeping the ball, pressing with intensity when out of possession, and dictating the tempo. This approach allowed the team to take control of the game, creating chances from both inside and outside the box. One of the highlights was a spectacular goal scored directly from a corner, showcasing the team’s confidence and flair.
Second Half: Turning Pressure Into Goals
While London Park City dominated possession and territory, the challenge remained in converting that dominance into goals. Footsteps FC threatened occasionally on the counter, but our pressing game and quick transitions kept them under pressure. More goals followed, sealing a deserved victory, though the scoreline could have been even more emphatic given the level of control.
This 5–2 win was a testament to the team’s commitment to their style of play—combining ball retention with aggressive pressing. The lesson now is to sharpen finishing and ensure that domination on the pitch translates fully into the scoreline.
